A FEW WORDS ABOUT ME AND MY WORK

Hello

I am Mahroz Hekmati, a Jewellery Artist and Vitreous Enameller. My journey into the art of vitreous enamelling began in 2017 while I was working on my graduate project at the Birmingham School of Jewellery. Following my graduation, I immersed myself in perfecting the traditional and classic techniques of enamelling and miniature painting on enamel.

I employ this incredible medium to infuse my work with a modern twist, aligning it seamlessly with today’s styles, trends, and tastes. Each of my designs embodies a harmonious interplay of shapes and contrasting colors, predominantly in silver and gold, embellished with vitreous enamel.

In my workshop, situated within the historic Birmingham Jewellery Quarter in the United Kingdom, I craft unique and meticulously handmade jewellery and art objects. Regardless of my geographical location, I carry with me the profound values of my Persian heritage and the millennia-long artistic traditions that have enriched Persian history. This enduring influence has significantly shaped my identity and style as an artist.
